I can handle the image better at this level of abstraction; I didn't really know what to say about the original. But is it too decontexualized now?

The line drawing confuses a bit by implying the wings were on the standing man; but it retains the bicycle, doesn't sever the other foot, doesn't add the cartridge casings, doesn't make the standing man younger.

I guess I would pick the line drawing for content. (Good use of image processing tools, though!)

I'm with you actually. Its probably not a picture that should be made easier to handle, which is one reason I think the other one works better. This one was good Illustrator exercise, though.

The more I look at it, the more I realize that the original shot stands on its own, and anything I do to it just makes it weaker.
